This is a question I get asked a lot. What does Ex high street and Ex chain store mean? I will also cover a few other questions I get asked about Ex high street stock.
What does Ex high street & Ex chain store mean?
Ex-chain store means that the clothing was originally made for a major UK high street chain store who cancelled the order because the high street ordered to much stock or the order was delivered late.
Are original labels removed?
Store labels are removed, cut or blacked out in accordance to requirements of the chain stores. This is in order to protect the rights of the original high street chain store and to prevent unauthorised store-returns. Labels are removed by the manufacturer or Wholesalers, But all items of clothing have labels with Sizing, washing instructions and fabric content.
Where do you buy your clothing from?
We have many different buying sources. We buy cancelled goods direct from the manufacturer, overstocks, discontinued lines, last seasons models and liquidation stock.
Are all your items of clothing Ex chain store?
No we stock our own brand and many other brands.
Where we have not listed the item as Ex chain store, they will be sold with labels and tags where applicable.
